Let \(A\) be the class of functions \(f\) analytic in the unit disk and normalized by \(f(0)= f'(0)- 1=0\). Using the method of Löwner chains the author proves conditions for the complex number \(\alpha\) and the functions \(f,g\in A\), under which the function \[ H(z)= \Biggl(\alpha \int^z_0 g^{\alpha- 1}(u) f'(u) du\Biggr)^{{1\over \alpha}} \] is analytic and univalent in the unit disk. These conditions generalize a number of known sufficient conditions for univalence.
