Let \(PW_{\pi}\) be the Paley-Wiener space of entire functions \(F\in L^2(\mathbb{R})\) of exponential type \(\leq \pi\). Further let \(PW_{\pi}^k\) \((k=0,1,\dots)\) be the set of entire functions \(F\) with \(F^{(k)}\in PW_\pi\). In this interesting paper , the author considers the interpolation by entire functions \(F\in PW^k_\pi\) on an irregular node sequence \(X =\{x_n\}\), where the given data sequences \(\{y(x_n)\}\) are not necessarily bounded. It is assumed that \(x_n <x_{n+1}\) and \(0<r_0 \leq x_{n+1}- x_n\leq r_1< \infty\) for all \(n\in \mathbb{Z}\) and that \(\{y^{[k]}(x_n)\}\in l^2(X)\) for some integer \(k\geq 0\), where \(y^{[k]}(x_n)=[y(x_n),\dots,y(x_{n+k})]\) denotes the forward divided difference of order \(k\). Under appropriate conditions, it is shown that there exists \(F\in PW^k_\pi\) which uniquely interpolates the data \(y(x_n)\). Further it is indicated the validity of two summability methods for the corresponding Lagrange type interpolation series. The first is related to the so-called Bernstein-Boas formula. The second method is an extension of the interpolating spline summability method introduced by Schoenberg. Note that many results of this paper significantly extend the results of \textit{I. D. Schoenberg} [J. Anal. Math. 27, 205-229 (1974; Zbl 0303.41008)].
