A method for the approximate solution, with a priori error bounds of the initial value problem for nonlinear ordinary differential equations \(y' = f(x,y)\), \(y(0) = y_0\) is presented, based on the Chebyshev perturbation of the right hand side function \(f(x,y)\). The solution method of Frobenius is used. A detailed development of two variable Chebyshev functions is done. The method is superior to the corresponding one using Bernstein polynomials as it converges faster especially in the case of smooth \(f(x,y)\). Numerical results are presented.
