Let \(q\in\mathbb{C}\setminus\{0\}\) and \(R=\sum^n_{i,j=1}q^{i-j}E_{ii}\otimes E_{jj}\) be a special Hayashi \(R\)-matrix, where \(E_{ii}\) are matrix units. Then \(R\) is an \(n^2\times n^2\) \(R\)-matrix, and one can construct the FRT bialgebra \(A_R\) over \(\mathbb{C}\), which is an infinite dimensional braided bialgebra determined by the parameter \(q\). Let \(A^\circ_R\) be the finite dual of \(A_R\). Then there exists a natural pairing between \(A_R\) and \(A^\circ_R\). In this paper, the authors first construct a subbialgebra \(H\) of \(A^\circ_R\) by using skew-derivation method. Then it is proved that if \(q\) is not a root of unit then the restriction pairing \(\langle , \rangle\colon A_R\times H\to\mathbb{C}\), \(\langle a,f\rangle=f(a)\), is non-degenerate.
