The matrix \(B \in M_n(\mathbb{C})\) is said to be congruent to a given matrix \(A \in M_n\) if there is an invertible \(C \in M_n\) such that \(B=C^*AC\). The possible spectra among matrices congruent to the matrix \(A \in M_n\) given already by \textit{S. Furtado} and \textit{C. R. Johnson} [Linear Multilinear Algebra 49, 243-259 (2001; Zbl 0998.15013)] are described here also for the case that \(0\) is a boundary point of the field of values of \(A\) and that \(A\) is a nonsingular matrix. The reduced form for the matrix \(A\) under congruence such that \(0\) is a boundary point is presented.
