Let \(A\) and \(G\) be finite groups of coprime order such that \(A\) acts on \(G\). Moreover, let \(\varphi\) be an \(A\)-invariant irreducible Brauer character of an \(A\)-invariant normal subgroup \(N\) of \(G\). The author shows that the induced Brauer character \(\varphi^G\) contains an \(A\)-invariant irreducible constituent if \(A\) has prime power order, or if \(G/N\) is \(p\)-solvable. If \(B\) is an \(A\)-invariant block of \(G\) then the Glauberman-Isaacs correspondents of the \(A\)-invariant irreducible characters in \(B\) form a union of blocks \(b_1,\dots,b_s\) of \(C_G(A)\). For \(i=1,\dots,s\), a defect group of \(b_i\) is contained in a defect group of \(B\).
