The paper shows, among others, that certain \([0,1]\)-topological invariants, which naturally have some hereditary properties when considered in the category of \([0,1]\)-topological spaces, fail to be hereditary in the authors' framework of categories where \([0,1]\)-topologies are defined on an \([0,1]\)-subset (rather than on a set).
