Biorthogonality of the Lagrange interpolants (Q1883469)

Let \(P_n(x)\) be Lagrange interpolations polynomials for the given function \(f(x)\) on a given interpolation grid \(a_0, a_1, ..., a_n\). It was shown that under some nondegeneracy conditions the polynomials \(P_n(x)\) form a biorthogonal system with respect to a set of rational functions \(R_n(x)\) \[ l(P_n(x), R_m(x))=\delta_{nm}, \;\;\;n, m=0, 1, ..., \] where \(l\) is some linear functional depending on a choice of the function \(f(x)\). \vskip5mm Aleksey A.Dovgoshey (Donetsk)
