Here, the authors address the problem of integrability of (2+1)-dimensional quasilinear systems \[ u_t+A(u)u_x+B(u)u_y=0, \] where \(t,x,y\) are independent variables, \(u\) is an \(m\)-component column vector and \(A(u), B(u)\) are \(m\times m\)-matrices. The authors show that the necessity of ``sufficiently many'' \(n\)-component reductions provides an effective classification criterion. As an example, the authors classify integrable systems of conservation laws in Godunov's form.
