For any positive integer \(m\), let \(F(m)\) denote the set of numbers with all partial quotients (except possibly the first) not exceeding \(m\). In this paper, the author characterizes most products and quotients of sets of the form \(F(m)\). His basic approach in establishing these results is similar to Hall's method. For all integers \(m\), he characterizes \([0,1]\cap F(m)\) as a Cantor set and he uses Cantor set techniques to prove his results.
