The paper under review proves the following rigidity result for solutions of the Ricci flow: If \(g(t)\) is a complete smooth solution with uniformly bounded curvature, then \(g\) is Kähler at time \(T\) if and only if it is Kähler at every time \(t<T\). The author addresses the problem using the curvature operator, in particular the fact that (unlike the metric) it satisfies a strictly parabolic equation. Due to the Ambrose-Singer theorem, the curvature operator is completely determined by the (reduced) holonomy group. The rigidity result mentioned above follows from a unique continuation argument, which the author obtains by proving that the (reduced) holonomy groups of the solution \(g(t)\) do not contract.
