    For the first boundary value problem of the Sobolev equation (1) \(D^ 2_ t\Delta u+D^ 2_{x_ n}u=0,\quad t>0,\quad x\in G\subset R^ n,\quad u|_{t=0}=u_ 1(x),\quad D_ tu|_{t=0}=u_ 2(x),\quad u|_{\partial G}=0,\quad t>0,\quad u_ i|_{\partial G}=0,\quad i=1,2\) the following theorem takes place: If \(u_ 1,u_ 2\subset W^ m_ 2(G),\) \(m\geq 0\); \(\partial G\) is a \(C^{m+1}\) manifold then the solution u of problem (1) satisfies \(\| D_ t^{\ell}u(t,\cdot)\|_{W^ s_ 2(G)}\leq C_ 1t^{2(s- 1)}+C_ 2,\) \(\ell \geq 1\). If \(u_ 1,u_ 2\in W^ r_ 2(G),\) \(r=k+1+[n/2],\) \(k\geq 0\); \(\partial G\) is a \(C^{r+1}\) manifold. Then for every \(\epsilon >0\) \[ \sup_{x\in G,\quad | \alpha | =k}| D_ t^{\ell}D_ x^{\alpha}u(x,t)| \leq C_ 1(\epsilon)t^{2(n/2+k-1)+\epsilon}+C_ 2,\quad \ell \geq 1. \]
