The process of repeated recall is described as a Markov chain. The initial distribution and the transition matrix are proposed. Some additional assumptions about the initial distribution and about the transition matrix are made aiming to decrease the number of parameters of the model. The main part of the paper is formed by experimental results, their comparison with the model and by interpretation of the model parameters. The paper represents generalization of the model proposed by the authors in the previous article, Repeated recall. A new model of its generality from childhood to old age. J. of Exp. Psychology: General, 112, 423-451 (1983).
