Principal bundles on the affine line (Q1072604)

Theorem: Let \({\mathbb{A}}\) be the affine line over a field k, G a connected reductive algebraic group over k, B a principal G-bundle over \({\mathbb{A}}\), and \(k_ s\) the separable closure of k; if \(B_ s:=B\times_{Spec(k)}Spec(k_ s)\) is trivial, then B is k-isomorphic to the pull-back by \({\mathbb{A}}\to Spec(k)\) of a principal G-bundle over \(k_ s\). If k is perfect, \(B_ s\) is always trivial.
