On Matukuma's equation and related topics (Q1099330)

Finite radial symmetric solutions of the equation \(\Delta u+(1+| x|\) \(2)^{-1} u\) \(p=0\), \(x\in {\mathbb{R}}^ 3 \)are investigated. It is proved that for \(1<p<5\) and each \(\alpha \leq \alpha_ p\) in the boundary condition \(u(0)=\alpha\) there is a unique positive entire solution with finite total mass.
