\textit{M. A. Hanson} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 80, 545-550 (1981; Zbl 0463.90080)] extended the duality results of mathematical programming to a class of generalized-convex functions, later called invex. This paper extends the invex concept to apply to a class of calculus of variations problems. A duality theorem is obtained.
