Laws of conservation and those of motion do play a significant role in science and applications thereof. Here the author develops a new formalism whereby certain balance laws are directly obtainable from integro-differential, linear second-order equations of motion for systems described in terms of several dependent variables. Such laws, reducible to series of conservation laws, are shown to have much practical use in a number of areas of interest including the relativistic and quantum situations. Two appendices throw further light on dynamics of the systems considered. On the whole the paper has enough potential to generate further ideas of immense research value.
