The paper is concerned with the Chebyshev iteration technique for convergence acceleration of computation of selected eigenvalues of non- symmetric matrices. The acceleration procedure is based on a simple algorithm for the computation of optimal Chebyshev parameters of the ellipse enclosing the set of unwanted eigenvalues.
