The author investigates the stability of Pexiderized mappings in Banach modules over a unital Banach algebra. The orthogonal Cauchy functional equation is defined as \[ f_1(x+y)=f_2(x)+f_3(x), x\perp y, \] where \(\perp\) is the orthogonality in the sense of Rätz. Suppose that \((X,\perp)\) is an orthogonality module and \((Y,\| \cdot\| )\) is a real Banach module. Let \(f_1,f_2,f_3:X\rightarrow Y\) be mappings fulfilling \[ \| f_1(ax+ay)-abf_2(x)-abf_3(x)\| \leq \varepsilon \] for some \( \varepsilon\) and all \(a,b\in A_1\) and for all \(x,y\in X\) with \(x\perp y\), then there exists a quadratic mapping \(Q:X\rightarrow Y\) and an additive mapping \(T:X\rightarrow Y\) such that \[ \| f_i(x)-f_i(0)-Q(x)-T(x)\| \leq \frac{68}{3}\varepsilon,\;\forall x\in X,\quad i=1,2,3, \] where \(A_1\) is the unit sphere of a unital Banach algebra, which generalized the results of \textit{R. Ger} and \textit{J. Sikorska} [Bull. Pol. Acad. Sci. Math. 43, 143--151 (1995; Zbl 0833.39007)].
