The author considers autonomous differential systems of the form \(\dot x=P(x,y)\), \(\dot y=Q(x,y)\), where \(P,Q\) are \(C^1\) functions. Recall that when \(O\) is the centre, it is possible to construct a curve that meets all the cycles contained in a neighborhood of \(O\). If \(O\) is isochronous, i.e., every orbit close enough to \(O\) has the same minimal period, then every such a curve is crossed at equal time intervals by the solutions encircling \(O\). When this occurs, a curve is said to be an isochronous section. In this paper, isochronous sections of non-integrable plane systems are studied. They are proved to exist and they are also identified. Some techniques usually applied to studying isochronicity of the centre are adapted here.
