The authors provide an efficient and robust algorithm in order to solve some exterior Bernoulli free boundary value problems. They rewrite such problems as shape optimization problems and prove the convergence of a fast wavelet Galerkin approximation of the shape. Essentially they use a second order shape calculus. Some numerical experiments are carried out in order to underline the capabilities of the algorithm.
