The author studies the topological structure of the solution set \(S:=\{ y\in E ; y\in Vy\}\) for the Volterra inclusion, where \(E\) is a Fréchet space. More precisely, if \(E=\text{proj}_nE_n\) is the projective limit of a sequence \((E_n)_n\) of Banach spaces and the corresponding solution set for each \(E_n\) is a continuum, then \(S\) is a continuum. A modern presentation of the theory of Fréchet spaces and recent developments can be found in the book of \textit{R. Meise} and \textit{D. Vogt} [Introduction to functional analysis, Clarendon Press, Oxford (1997; Zbl 0924.46002)] and in the survey paper of \textit{K. D. Bierstedt} and \textit{J. Bonet} [RACSAM, Rev. R. Acad. Cienc. Exactas Fis. Nat., Ser. A Mat. 97, No. 2, 159--188 (2003; Zbl 1085.46001)].
