    The authors study some integral operators on unbounded intervals of \(R\), defined by a positive definite kernel \(k\). If the kernel \(k\) is of class \(A\), then the associated operator \(K\) is a Hilbert-Schmidt operator and therefore compact. There are results concerning the asymptotic behavior of the eigenvalues of a kernel in the class \(A\) satisfying a Lipschitz condition; then they show how Lipschitz continuity and uniform continuity allow to control the decay rate of eigenvalues.
