Let \(\alpha_1\) \((i=1,\ldots,n)\) be algebraic numbers such that their logarithms are linearly independent over the rationals. Let \(b_i\) \((i=1,\ldots,n)\) be integers. The author gives an asymptotic estimate for the number of elements of type \(\alpha_1^{b_1}\dots \alpha_n^{b_n}\), as \(A_i,B_i\rightarrow\infty\) where \(1\leq \alpha_i\leq A_i\) and \(| b_i| \leq B_i\). This is analogous to the number of linear forms \(b_1\log\alpha_1+\dots+b_n\log\alpha_n\).
