This paper is concerned with the weak representation theory of \(2\)-groups in the \(2\)-category of \(2\)-vector spaces. The representations of a \(2\)-group \(G\) are classified in terms of its homotopy groups \(\pi_0(G)\) and \(\pi_1(G)\) and of the cohomology class in \(H^3(\pi_0(G);\pi_1(G))\) which classifies \(G\). The category of morphisms between two such representations is interpreted in terms of vector bundles with projective actions. It is also shown that the category of representations of \(\pi_0(G)\) on finite sets is equivalent to a non-full subcategory of the homotopy category of representations of \(G\) on \(2\)-vector spaces.
