This paper consists of two main theorems. In the first one the sufficient conditions for an \(n \times n\) matrix \(A\) to be a generalized diagonally dominant matrix (GD) are given. The equivalent condition for \(A\) to be a GD matrix is proved in the second theorem under the assumption that \(A\) is weakly diagonally dominant.
