The paper under review studies isometric immersions \(\varphi: M\longrightarrow \mathbb{R}^n\) of locally irreducible Kähler manifolds into Euclidean space with parallel pluri-mean curvature (ppmc) which generalize constant mean curvature surfaces to higher dimensional Kähler submanifolds. The main results show that if the isometric immersion is isotropic, then \(M\) must be a locally symmetric space or a Riemannian product unless the immersion is holomorphic or a superminimal surface in a sphere; furthermore, if the codimension of the immersion is \(\leq 6\), then \(\varphi(M)\) is extrinsically symmetric or a minimal surface in a sphere or \(\varphi\) is holomorphic.
