Let \({\mathcal M}\) be an ideal of multilinear mappings in the class of Banach spaces. An ideal of homogeneous polynomials \({\mathcal P_M}\) is associated to \({\mathcal M}\) using the canonical isomorphism between \(n\)-homogeneous polynomials and symmetric \(n\)-linear mappings. These ideals of homogeneous polynomials prove to be (global) holomorphy types \({\mathcal H_{P_M}}\), at least ``almost always''. The authors consider several ideals of multilinear mappings \({\mathcal M}\) which are extensions of the operator ideal of absolutely \((p;q)\)-summing operators \({\mathcal L}_{as(p;q)}\), i.e., \({\mathcal L}_{as(p;q)}(E;F)={\mathcal M}(^1E;F)\) for all Banach spaces \(E,F\). Two new ideals are introduced, the ideal \({\mathcal L}_{ss(p;q)}\) of strongly \((p;q)\)-summing mappings, which adapts the concept of strongly \(p\)-summing mappings defined in \textit{V. Dimant} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 278, No.~1, 182--193 (2003; Zbl 1043.47018)] and the ideal \({\mathcal L}_{sf(p;q)}\) of strongly fully \((p;q)\)-summing mappings. Let us cite only one result in order to illustrate the coincidence. Let \(E\) be an infinite-dimensional Banach space. The following assertions are equivalent: (a) \(E\) has cotype \(p\). \newline (b) \({\mathcal L}_{as(p;1)}(E;E)={\mathcal L}(E;E)\). \newline (c) \({\mathcal P_{L}}_{ss(p;1)}(^nE;E)={\mathcal P}(^nE;E)\) for some \(n\). \newline (d) \({\mathcal P_{L}}_{ss(p;1)}(^nE;E)={\mathcal P}(^nE;E)\) for every \(n\). (e) \({\mathcal H_{P_{L}}}_{ss(p;1)}(E;E)={\mathcal H}(E;E)\).
