Given a \(p\)-local spectrum \(E\), a spectrum \(X\) is called \(E\)-acyclic if the smash product \(X\wedge E\simeq \text{pt}\), and called \(E\)-local if the homotopy classes \([X,C]_*=0\) for any \(E\)-acyclic spectrum \(C\). There is a Bousfield localization functor \(L_E\) from the category of \(p\)-local spectra to the category of \(E\)-local spectra. An \(E\)-local spectrum \(X\) is called invertible if there exists a spectrum \(Y\) such that \(L_E(X\wedge Y)=L_E(S^0)\). If the collection of the isomorphism classes of invertible \(E\)-local spectra forms a set, it is a group which is called the Picard group of the category of \(E\)-local spectra. In this article, the authors prove that if the collection of \(E\)-acyclic spectra is contained in the collection of \(H\mathbb{Z}/p\)-acyclic spectra, then the Picard group of the category of \(E\)-local spectra is \(\mathbb{Z}\), where \(HG\) denotes the Eilenberg-MacLane spectrum.
