The weighted Sobolev space \(H^\gamma_{p,\theta}\) was introduced by \textit{N. V. Krylov} [Commun. Partial Differ. Equ. 24, No. 9--10, 1611--1653 (1999; Zbl 0934.35032)]. The traces of functions in these spaces are zero. In order to study elliptic equations with nonzero boundary conditions, the author introduces the weighted Sobolev spaces \(\widetilde H^\gamma_{p,\theta}\), and proves that under appropriate conditions on the smoothness of the domain \(\Omega\), and the parameters \(\gamma\), \(p\) and \(\theta\), the trace space of \(\widetilde H^\gamma_{p,\theta}(\Omega)\) is the Slobodetskii space \(W^s_p(\partial\Omega)\), where \(s= {p-\theta+ d-1\over p}\), and \(d\) is the dimension of \(\Omega\). The complex interpolation theorem for these spaces, and the existence and uniqueness for the solutions of the second-order elliptic equations with nonzero Dirichlet boundary conditions in these weighted Sobolev spaces are studied.
