The authors study the solvability conditions for the jump problem on a nonrectifiable open arc \(\Gamma\). This problem implies the determination of a holomorphic function \(\Phi\) defined in \(\mathbb{C}\setminus\Gamma\) by a given jump \(f(t)=\Phi^+(t)-\Phi^-(t)\) on the arc, when \(f\) satisfies a Hölder condition. The authors extend the known class of the curves, for which this jump problem is solvable, by means of the characterisation of the curve by the coefficients of the expansion of \(f\) in Faber-Schauder series. Some fractal curves take part in this extension. The presented solvability conditions depend on the characteristics of \(\Gamma\) and of \(f\).
