    Let \(Y\) be a semilattice and let \(S=\bigcup_{\alpha\in Y}G_\alpha\) be a Clifford semigroup, where \(\{G_\alpha\}_{\alpha\in Y}\) is a family of disjoint groups. For a cardinal number \(c\), a right \(S\)-act \(A_S\) is called `\(c\)-weakly injective' if for every right ideal \(I\) of \(S\), which has a generating set containing less than \(c\) elements and for every \(S\)-homomorphism \(\varphi\colon I\to A_S\), there exists an element \(a\) in \(A\) such that \(\varphi(s)=as\) for every \(s\in I\). Conditions for ideals of a Clifford semigroup to be \(c\)-weakly injective are found. Weakly self-injective Clifford semigroups are described as well.
