In a cooperative game, when a subset of players decides to act a bloc, it has at least two possibilities; the first one consists in forming an effective coalition or alliance; the second is to constitute a partner ship. The Shapley- Shubik index is used to measure the effects of forming either an alliance or a partnership in a simple game. By using the Banzhaf -Coleman index (Owen-Banzhaf semivalue) for cooperative games the authors give expressions for the difference between the Banzhaf semivalue of a player in the partnership game and his Owen - Banzhaf semivalue and in consequence, to provide arguments for choosing among these options if necessary.
