The paper under review generalizes results by \textit{B. Külshammer} and \textit{L. Puig} [Invent. Math. 102, No. 1, 17-71 (1990; Zbl 0739.20003)]. Whereas these authors work with a sufficiently large \(p\)-modular system, the author here takes an arbitrary \(p\)-modular system \((K,\mathcal O,k)\) where \(k\) is a perfect field of characteristic \(p>0\). Let \(H\) be a normal subgroup of a finite group \(G\), let \(G_\alpha\) and \(H_\beta\) be pointed groups on \(\mathcal OH\) such that \(H_\beta\leq G_\alpha\), and let \(P_\gamma\) and \(Q_\delta\) be defect pointed groups of \(G_\alpha\) and \(H_\beta\), respectively. Moreover, suppose that the block of \(H\) determined by \(\beta\) is nilpotent and that \(N_H(P_\gamma)\cap C_H(Q)=Z(Q)C_H(P)\). Then the main results of the paper describe the structure of \(A_\gamma:=i\mathcal OGi\), for \(i\in\gamma\).
