A subset \(S\subset X\) is a discretely weak P-set if it is nowhere dense and closed and \(S\cap\overline{C}=\varnothing\) for each countable \(C\subset X\setminus S\). It is shown that in the presence of \textsl{CH} the Čech-Stone remainder of the natural numbers cannot be covered by discretely weak P-sets.
