The authors consider the problem of the holomorphic embedding of the boundary of a pseudoconvex real analytic domain in \(\mathbb{C}^{n+1}\) into a sphere \(S^{2N+1}\subset\mathbb{C}^{N+1}\). They obtain necessary and sufficient conditions under certain nondegeneracy conditions on the Chern-Moser curvature tensor, after imposing an upper bound on the codimension \(N-n\), showing moreover that in this case the embedding is essentially unique. Their method consists in constructing a Pfaffian differential system for the CR embedding by using adapted frames. After computing its finite complete prolongation, they show that this prolonged system is involutive if and only if a Frobenious condition is satisfied. This condition is explicitly expressed in terms of the Chern-Moser curvature tensor and of its derivatives.
