This paper deals with spectral properties of one-dimensional discrete Schrödinger operator \[ (Hu)(n)=-(\Delta u)(n)+q(n)\,u(n), \] where \((\Delta u)(n)=u(n+1)-2u(n)+u(n-1)\) is the discrete Laplace operator and \(q(n)\in{\mathbb R}\) for \(n\in{\mathbb Z}\). The main results concern the conditions in terms of the potential \(q\) and the spectrum of \(H\) such that certain associated limit-type operators \(W\) and \(Z\), defined on appropriate \(\ell^2\) spaces, extend to isomorphisms. The paper contains numerous calculations, some of which are quoted from the author's joint paper with \textit{M.~Tarulli} [``On asymptotic stability of standing waves of discrete Schrödinger equation in \({\mathbb Z}\)'' (in press)].
