The paper deals with a class of probability measures referred to as Sinai-Ruelle-Bowen (SRB) measures, or shortly SRB measures; and provides sufficient conditions on families of smooth diffeomorphisms for the statistical stability and the continuous variation of the SRB entropy. One considers the class of diffeomorphisms which involve Gibbs-Markov structures with infinitely many branches and variable return tmes. One exhibits the main properties of quotient dynamics (via quotient induced maps), some convergence results are stated for densities on the reference leaf, and then the convergence of the SRB metric entropy is considered.
