In this paper, the authors deal only with commutative integral residuated bounded lattices and refer to them simply as residuated lattices. Then, if \(A\) is a residuated lattice, \(\{a_i\}\subseteq A\) and \(\{F_i\}\) a family of filters of \(A\), then \(A\) is called maximal iff, given a family of congruences \(\{x\equiv a_{i}\, (\text{mod}\, F_i)\}\) of \(A\), one can find a solution for all the congruences once this property holds for all finite subsets of this family. \(A\) is said to have a lifting Boolean center iff for every \(e\in B(A/\text{Rad}(A))\) there exists an \(f\in B(A)\) such that \(e=f/\text{Rad}(A)\). Here, \(\text{Rad}(A)\) is the intersection of all maximal filters of \(A\) and \(B(A)\) denotes the Boolean center of \(A\). The main theorem of the paper gives a structure theorem for residuated lattices with a lifting Boolean center: Any maximal residuated lattice with a lifting Boolean center is isomorphic to a finite direct product of local residuated lattices.
