In the paper under review the authors announce results on noncommutative Jordan superalgebras whose proofs can be found in the authors' article [''Noncommutative Jordan superalgebras of degree \(n>2\).'' Algebra Logic 49, No. 1, 18--42 (2010); translation from Algebra Logika 49, No. 1, 26--59 (2010; Zbl 1195.17025)]. Noncommutative Jordan superalgebras generalize the notion of Jordan superalgebras. The finite-dimensional simple Jordan superalgebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 was considered by \textit{V. Kac} [Commun. Algebra 5, 1375--1400 (1977; Zbl 0367.17007)] and \textit{I. L. Kantor} [ Transl., Ser. 2, Am. Math. Soc. 151, 55-80 (1989; Zbl 0803.17012)]. The study of Jordan superalgebras of positive characteristic was initiated by I. ~Kaplansky. The modular simple Jordan superalgebras with non-semisimple even part were classified by \textit{C. Martínez} and \textit{E. Zelmanov} [J. Algebra 236, No. 2, 575--629 (2001; Zbl 0988.17024)]. The remaining case of simple Jordan superalgebras with semisimple even part was considered by \textit{M. Racine} and \textit{E. I. Zel'manov} [J. Algebra 270, No. 2, 374--444 (2003; Zbl 1036.17026)]. A noncommutative Jordan superalgebra \(U\) is said to have degree \(n\) if \(n\) is the maximum number of mutually orthogonal idempotents in \(U\otimes\bar{\Phi},\) where \(\bar{\Phi}\) is the algebraic closure of the ground field \(\Phi.\) In the paper under review the central simple finite-dimensional noncommutative Jordan superalgebras of characteristic 0 and degree \(n>2\) are classified. It is proved that for a simple finite-dimensional noncommutative Jordan superalgebra \(U\) of characteristic 0 and degree \(n>1\) the symmetrized Jordan superalgebra \(U^{(+)}\) is simple. In conclusion some description of the central simple finite-dimensional noncommutative Jordan superalgebras of characteristic 0 (Theorem 4) is given. Note that this description is not complete, one can find a thorough description in the above cited article by the authors. As a preliminary result an analogue of \textit{K. McCrimmon}'s coordinatization theorem [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 121, 187--199 (1966; Zbl 0142.27401)] for noncommutative Jordan superalgebras with \(n\geq 3\) ``connected'' idempotents is proved in the paper. It is shown that such superalgebras are either Jordan superalgebras or split quasi-associative superalgebras.
