This paper deals with large redundant systems and considers three cases: (1) the failed elements are not repaired, (2) there are infinitely many repair facilities, (3) there is only one repair facility. The system behavior is modeled by a regenerative stochastic flow. There are four examples of regenerative stochastic flows considered, the doubly stochastic Poisson process, the Markov modulated process, the Markov arrival process and the semi-Markov flow. For each of the three assumed cases, some reliability characteristics are obtained by letting the number of system elements tend to infinity.
