The authors improve the monotone property of Lemma 1.7.3 in the book by \textit{V. Lakshmikantham, S. Leela} and \textit{J. Vasundhara Devi} [Theory of fractional dynamic systems. Cambridge: Cambridge Scientific Publishers (2009; Zbl 1188.37002)]. Furthermore, they investigate the Mittag-Leffler stability of solutions of fractional differential equations by using the fractional comparison principle.
