Let \(B\) be a standard graded noetherian ring and \(A\subset B\) a homogeneous subring with \(A_0=B_0\). The inclusion \(A\subset B\) is birational if \(A_p=B_p\) for all minimal prime ideal \(p\in \mathrm{Min}\;A\). If \(A_0\) is local with maximal ideal \(m\) then \(A\subset B\) is weakly birational if \(A_p=B_p\) for all \(p\in \mathrm{Min}\;A\) with \(p\supset m\) and \(\dim\;A/p=\dim\;B\). If \(A_0\) is local and \(B_1/A_1\) has finite length then \textit{A. Simis, B. Ulrich} and \textit{W. V. Vasconcelos} [Math. Proc. Camb. Philos. Soc. 130, No. 2, 237--257 (2001; Zbl 1096.13500)] introduced an infinite series of relative multiplicities of \(A\subset B\), which express the integrality and birationality of \(A\subset B\). This is generalized here to the case when \(B_1/A_1\) has not finite length. Thus it gives a series of relative multiplicities \(j^t(A|B)\) as well as a stable value \(j^{\infty}(A|B)\) of them such that the finite birational extension, the integral extension and the weakly birational extension are expressed in terms of \(j^t(A|B)\), \(j^{\infty}(A|B)\).
