Let \(M\) be an \(R\)-module and \(B\) be a submodule of \(M\). Denote by \(\mathrm{rad}(B)\) the intersection of all prime submodules of \(M\) containing \(B\) and by \(E(B)\) the envelope of \(B\). \textit{A. Azizi} [J. Algebra 307, No. 1, 454-460 (2007; Zbl 1117.13005)] gave a generalization \(E_n(B)\) (where \(n\) is an arbitrary positive integer) of \(E(B)\) is introduced (called the \(n\)th-envelope of \(B\)). It satisfies the property that \(<En(B)>\) contains \(<E(B)>\) and is contained in \(\mathrm{rad}(B)\). In the paper under review the author gives a classification of Noetherian rings which satisfy the radical formula of degree \(n\). In addition, it is shown that divisible modules over primary rings satisfy the radical formula.
