It is known that one of the central problems in the spatial behaviour of interacting components of multicomponent Bose-Einstein condensates (BEC) is to establish whether coexistence of all the components occurs or the interspecies interaction leads to extinction. In the present paper it is proved that the interspecies interaction leads to extinction in the Thomas-Fermi approximation for the rotating \(k\)-mixture BEC.
