Two complex dynamical networks with non-delayed and delayed linear coupling are considered. The anti-synchronization problem is studied for the networks, that is, the anti-synchronization error vector, which is the sum of relevant state variables, has to vanish. The pinning strategy is introduced, that is, the pinning adaptive feedback control is defined via only a part of the coordinates of the anti-synchronization error vector, and only a fraction of the nodes of one network is controlled. The anti-synchronization criterion is stated on the base of a quadratic Lyapunov functional. Two numerical examples are given.
