A \(G\)-graded vector space \(L = \bigoplus\limits_{g \in G}L_g\) is said a Lie color algebra over a field \(\mathbb{F} \) of characteristic not two if it is endowed with an \(\mathbb{F}\)-bilinear map \([\cdot,\cdot]: L \times L \longrightarrow L\) satisfying \([L_g,L_h]\subset L_{g+h}\) for all \(g,h\in G\), \([x,y] = -\epsilon(\bar{x},\bar{y})[y,x]\) and \([x,[y,z]] = [[x,y],z] + \epsilon(\bar{x}, \bar{y})[y,[x,z]]\) for all homogeneous elements \(x,y,z \in L \) (\(x\in L_{\bar x} \), \(y\in L_{\bar y} \)) and for some skew-symmetric bicharacter \(\epsilon\). This structure, which generalizes those ones of Lie algebra and Lie superalgebra, has been object of an increasing research, although a classification seems still far away. The paper under review begins the study of several types of algebras of derivations of a Lie color algebra \(L\), generalizing well known results on algebras and superalgebras. A linear map \(D: L\to L\) is homogeneous of degree \(\theta\in G\) if \(D(L_\mu)\subset L_{\theta\mu}\) for all \(\mu\in G\). This map \(D\) is said a generalized derivation if there are \(D'\) and \(D''\), also homogeneous linear maps of degree \(\theta\), such that \([D(x),y]+\epsilon(\theta,\bar x)[x,D'(y)]=D''([x,y])\). Similarly \(D\) is a quasiderivation if \(D'\) can be taken as \(D\) in the above formula. The sum of the homogeneous generalized derivations, respectively the sum of the homogeneous quasiderivations, is always a Lie color algebra denoted by \(\mathrm{GDer}(L)\), respectively \(\mathrm{QDer}(L)\). In a first result the generalized derivation algebra is decomposed as \(\mathrm{GDer}(L)= \mathrm{QDer}(L)+ \mathrm{QC}(L)\), where \(\mathrm{QC}(L)\) is the quasicentroid of \(L\), that is, the sum of the homogeneous linear maps \(D\) of degree \(\theta\) varying in \(G\) such that \([D(x),y]=\epsilon(\theta,\bar x)[x, D(y)]\). It is also characterized when \(\mathrm{QC}(L)\) is a Lie color algebra. Secondly, the quasiderivation algebra \(\mathrm{QDer}(L)\) is embedded as a subalgebra of derivations of a larger Lie color algebra, namely, \(\breve{L}=\oplus_{g\in G}L_g[tF[t]/(t^3)]\). The complement of this copy of \(\mathrm{QDer}(L)\) in \(\mathrm{ Der}(\breve{L})\) is determined when the annihilator of \(L\) is zero.
