This comment to [\textit{Y.-S. Huang} and \textit{K.-H. Lu}, ibid. 38, No. 2, 151--159 (2008; Zbl 1141.78007)] contains a rederivation of relativistic expressions for the electromagnetic field and radiation power emitted by an accelerated charged particle and proves incorrectness of a similar result derived and published in the considered reference.
