The author considers the 4 dimensional Poincaré biextension attached to a universal elliptic curve. This is a mixed Shimura variety of dimension 4 which parametrizes points on extensions of elliptic curves by the multiplicative group. The author gives a list of its special subvarieties and deduces a partial verification of Pink's Conjecture on unlikely intersections in this case. The results are based on recent work of the author, partly in collaboration with \textit{B. Edixhoven} [``Special points and Poincaré bi-extensions, with an Appendix by Bas Edixhoven'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:1104.5178}] and with \textit{D. Masser} et al. [``Relative Manin-Mumford for semi-abelian surfaces'', Preprint] on semiabelian surface schemes in the context of the relative Manin-Mumford Conjecture.
