    Summary: Let \(\mathcal{U} =\{U(t,s\}_{t\geq s\geq 0}\) be a strongly continuous and \(q\)-periodic evolution family acting on a complex Banach space \(X\). We prove that if \(0<p< \infty\), \(x\in X\), and \(\sup_{s\geq 0} \sup_{\|x\|\leq 1} \int^\infty_0 \| U(t+s,s)x\|^p dt=:C_p <\infty\), then the growth bound of the family \(\mathcal{U}\) is less than or equal to \(-1/(pC_p)\).
